Here's some exciting news... Director Shinichiro Watanabe (Cowboy Bebop, Animatrix, Samurai Champloo, Macross Plus) is reuniting with famed composer Yoko Kanno (Cowboy Bebop, Macross Plus/Frontier, Escaflowne, Ghost in the Shell: StandAlone Complex) for a new anime series adaptation of a manga set in Japan surrounding Jazz Music set in the 1960s! It has the feel of a series like Beck where a young boy is introduced to a new style of music that he grows to love and participate in! Given that the manga is a critically acclaimed award winner, and Watanabe's style and Yoko Kanno's amazing OST for Cowboy Bebop, it's sure to be something special!
