There's an intriguing little booklet written by Chris Sanders that you can read online here that is a critical look on the state of writing and the animation industry around 1989. It's a very interesting look at the industry from Sander's point of view of that period. It's done in the style of an allegorical story which includes art by Chris Sanders!
