In some big news, Eureka 7 is getting 3 new anime films scheduled to release in 2017, 2018 & 2019! The first prequel film will detail the first phenomenon of the 'Summer of Love' that led to the events in the original series that took place 10 years later! The remainder of the films will then cover the same story as the TV series but with redone animation plus all new dialogue and scenes and a new ending! A lot of the original staff, such as the director, writer and character/mechanical designers are also working on them!
