'Get Jiro' and the art of sushi on the BBC

Saw an interesting news piece! It featured Anthony Bourdain, a chef and the creator of the graphic novel 'Get Jiro.'

"In Anthony Bourdain's new graphic novel, Get Jiro!, chefs rule a futuristic Los Angeles, bitterly divided by two warring foodie clans.

Both vie for young Jiro's legendary sushi skills.

But Bourdain paints his hero as an independent thinker who won't compromise on his devotion to the art and craft of sushi.

Bourdain had a bite with the BBC at Sushi Yasuda in New York. There he talked about his deep love for sushi and the inspiration behind Get Jiro!"

You will have to head over to the BBC's website to watch the video. Anyone looking for the graphic novel can find it at our store at U.S. Cover price! And if you're interested in food and cuisine graphic novels, might I also recommend checking out out manga indy section for titles like Oishinbo and Drops of God?All these titles are available at our store for U.S. Cover price!
