If you're walking around down-town Toronto, you may have noticed some parts of it look like another country entirely! As it turns out director Guillermo del Toro has been spotted going about Toronto, and even dropped by our store! He's shooting a new film 'Pacific Rim' based on monster movie genres like Godzilla. And this filming is being done in Toronto and requires transforming parts of the city into sets that resemble Tokyo, Japan! Having been to Tokyo, I can say that much of it does indeed feel a lot like Toronto, so it makes a lot of sense to film here if you can't film overseas.
