It appears that more clarity is needed on the subject of which charity we are supporting on sketch cover day.
The plan is to let those people that come in on sketch cover day (to draw) to vote/nominate a charity they like. We did not pick a charity in advance. We will ALL PICK IT TOGETHER on the actual day. We will vote on it.
Since we hope to do sketch cover day once every month (or while these covers are available) we expect that different charities will be chosen over time.
The goal of Sketch Cover Day is to be creative and experience the challenge of drawing on a real comic - knowing in the back of your mind, that you might make a mistake and ruin a real comic book. That's mental pressure!
The goal of adding a charity is to meet the expected demand for these covers, while at the same time not making this all about the money.
