Approaching fast - the Word on the Street is Toronto's largest book fair. It's held every September and this year it will be on September 27th. Tons of tents full of books. Authors too and a children's reading area. It's being held on Queens Park (which is the street in front of the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM)). Queens Park runs north/south between Bloor street West and College. So its just a few blocks from the shop.
The Labyrinth will be there selling Amazing Kids books at fabulous prices as well as SALE PRICED GRAPHIC Novels. The Labyrinth is a Graphic Arts bookstore - but generally speaking kids books aren't the main attraction in the store, even though they have some of the best art of any books. At WOS we get to really put the spotlight on kids books and that's why its so much fun.
Even though there is a section at WOS that's dedicated to kids stuff - we will be on the main strip. Our tent is the 5th one down, if you're walking south on Queens Park from Bloor. That's directly across from the ROM/Planetarium.
The Store will remain open as well.
