Forgot to Profile a couple of really great books in this week's ship list.
First off: The Nobody by Toronto's own Jeff Lemire. Anyone that has met Jeff at local cons knows he's a pretty cool and down to earth guy. His series Essex County is a great read, and his art is really special. The Nobody is well worth a look if you want something that's not so mainstream from a mainstream publisher.
Next, Osamu Tezuka's Swallowing the Earth. This is a massive manga - dwarfed perhaps only by his book: Ode to Kirihito. As you probably already know, Tezuka is the god of manga having created Astro Boy and influenced a whole generation of manga artists if not the entire japanese comic industry. At the Labyrinth, you will find all of the Tezuka books along with other literary manga in the asian author section.
