Before anyone gets too excited, no, it's not a new Mamoru Oshii film like the original and Innocence. Rather this new one is being done by the same folks behind the recent ARISE series. However, what is not clear at this time is whether the new film has any direct connection to ARISE. None the less, more GITS is always welcome!
