Marvel is planning a new series of animated shorts revolving around Rocket Racoon & Groot. At the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Comic Con panel they showed off an animation test of the style they're going for. It will be directed by Arnaud Delord & Passion Pictures, who are the same team behind the Gorillaz music videos! Artist Skottie Young was a consultant on the project and you can see his style present in the test footage! The short series is planned to air on Disney XD next year.
