I've been pretty excited about the new industry trends in VR. We'd written about the Oculus Rift and Sony's HMZ experiments before, but some big announcements happened recently around this year's GDC. One that's been in the news has been Facebook's acquisition of the Oculus guys for $2 Billion. The other big news was Sony finally unveiling their rumoured dev kit for VR on the PS4, which is codenamed 'Morpheus.'
Sony's GDC presentation is finally online, and you can see it here. Also hit the jump to see it and more video impressions including a video announcing Oculus' second dev kit. The speculated release for both these devices looks to be sometime in 2015. Microsoft is also rumored to be working on something similar.
