Toronto Welcomes its First International Festival Celebrating the Best of Animation Arts from Around the World

The Toronto Animation Arts Festival International (TAAFI) launches July 6-8, 2012 at the TIFF Bell Lightbox to celebrate the many forms of animation, including long- and short-format film and television, gaming and interactive, and the Canadian industry that creates the animated arts.

From classic cartoons to R-rated animated films, TAAFI presents a collection of some of the finest work in animation, for audiences of all ages. Headlined by TAAFI’s keynote artist John Kricfalusi, creator of The Ren and Stimpy Show, the international festival offers fans of every genre the chance to participate in intimate and exclusive workshops, master classes, panel discussions and attend retrospectives and Q&A sessions with some of the world’s leading animation artists and filmmakers.
