The Doug Wright Awards for Canadian Cartooning - only a few days away.
Lynn Johnston is being inducted into the Hall of Fame, the winners of Best Book, Best Emerging Talent, and the non-narrative cartooning awards will be handed out. Lynn and the winners will do a signing, etc.
It's at the Toronto Reference Library Friday August 8 at 7pm.
Also, the night before, there is a gallery show at Katharine Mulherin Contemporary put on by the Wrights. It features Chester Brown, Ho Che Anderson, Lorenz Peter, and more!
